UK may have to rely on US if Iran targets London, experts warn

There are concerns over the effectiveness of British defences in the event of a missile attack after Iran revealed it may one day have the capability to strike the UK.

Iran targeted Diego Garcia in the Chagos Islands, where there is a joint US-UK base, with two ballistic missiles before the Government granted the US permission to strike missile sites targeting the Strait of Hormuz.
