The UK’s trade deal with India is a “tremendous statement to the world” following Donald Trump’s tariffs, the Business and Trade Secretary has said.

Jonathan Reynolds said “the world needs a story like this right now”, with the deal coming a month after the US president’s tariffs sent shockwaves through the global trading system.
