UK holidaymakers travelling to Spain warned not to take certain snacks

Scots flying out to Spain for a holiday have been issued a warning about taking certain food products into the country.

Under post-Brexit rules, travellers arriving into Spain from the UK are not permitted to take meat or milk — or products containing them.

As a result, it is illegal to bring snacks such as cheese and ham sandwiches into the country, as well as any other EU country.
