- The Met Office has issued its pollen forecast for the coming week, as temperatures are forecast to reach 34C in south east England.
- London and Cardiff are set to face very high levels of pollen on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, while Leeds will experience high levels during the same period.
- Meanwhile, Edinburgh will face increasing levels throughout the week, reaching a high on Thursday.
- The West Midlands and south west England can also expect very high levels of pollen from Tuesday until Thursday.
- According to the NHS , there are a number of steps hay fever sufferers can take to manage their symptoms, such as vacuuming or wearing “wraparound sunglasses”.
