UK government to spend £1.3bn to support ‘spectacular’ Universal theme park in Bedford

The name and logo for the UK’s Universal theme park have been officially unveiled, coinciding with the announcement of a significant £7.3 billion investment into the project by the American company and the Government.

The new attraction will be known as Universal United Kingdom Resort. Enabling works are currently underway at the Bedfordshire site, with full construction anticipated to commence in the near future.
