UK economy flatlined in January, figures show

  • The UK economy recorded zero growth in January, according to new data released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

  • The Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) has warned that UK inflation could reach three per cent by the end of the year if current oil and gas price levels persist.
