The UK is considering sending hundreds more troops to eastern Europe amid fears of a Russian invasion of Ukraine, according to reports.
A Whitehall source told Sky News no decision had been taken yet but sending hundreds more British forces to "eastern Europe" was an option - but is "one of many".
Another Whitehall source reportedly said a new deployment was possible, but added that it was "very much speculation" and nothing has been signed off yet.
