A Bournemouth cafe has provoked criticism over a planned '9/11 Watch Party' marking the 25th anniversary of the terror attacks. The event is being staged by London-based arts group Verdurin as part of the Adam Curtis Party Conference.

Verdurin's website lists the '9/11 Watch Party' for 11 September 2026. The listing says it will rebroadcast mainstream media responses while 'twinning them with conspiratorial commentators' and examining the 'seductive power of conspiracy theories.'
