UK airports finally busier than pre-pandemic peak, handling 302m passengers in 2025

United Kingdom Pandemic

The number of passengers flying to or from UK’s airports has finally passed the 300 million pre-pandemic peak of 2019, according to latest official figures.

The total of 302 million was up 2% on the 295 million recorded in 2024 and compares with 300 million in 2019, according to the data from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
