Jake Paul's broadcast partner Showtime claim they were denied access to footage of Anderson Silva's UFC career.
Paul will make the biggest step-up in his boxing career this weekend when he battles UFC legend Silva in Phoenix on Saturday night. The Brazilian has prior experience in the squared circle which has seen him defeat the likes of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and Tito Ortiz, but he is primarily known for his long and successful stint in the UFC.
The YouTube star has had a strained relationship with Silva's former promotion, particularly with UFC president Dana White who has been left angered by Paul's relentless attempts to draw his fighters into crossover bouts. And president of Showtime Sports Stephen Espinoza believes the UFC could feel threatened by Paul's rise in the boxing world.
