He received the phone justahead of UFC 294 and as he contemplates a major move into the world of boxing.
He is the latest high-profile figure to receive a gold iPhone from the company. Other athletes who have received such phones include Lionel Messi, Kevin De Bruyne, and UFC athlete cum boxer Conor McGregor.
“The company designed gold BAM that’s a 24 karat gold phone and these guys license UFC cases now and this is a gift for me. Listen I was due for a new iPhone anyway I got like the iPhone 2 or something I don’t know what I got,” said White according to a press statement.
“My phone sucks but anyway. Ironically we started the company 7 years ago today and our very first winner was Conor McGregor,” added White.
