Dana White has denied he was laughing while watching fighter Richard Jacobi take a kick to the groin by rival Austen Lane.
White was cageside at the latest instalment of his UFC Contender Series as a host of the brightest prospects competed for a contract with his promotion. Among them was Jacobi and Lane with the latter previously known for his spell as a defensive end. for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL.
And it was Lane who was to hand his Brazilian rival defeat in the opening round - but not before the viral incident, with Lane landing a thunderous kick straight to the groin of his opponent. The referee stepped in to briefly halt the action with Jacobi writhing in pain on the ground after being caught flush in the nether region.
