Nate Diaz has claimed he and his team were the only "real fighters" at the fight between Jake Paul and Anderson Silva.
YouTube star Paul fought in his sixth professional boxing fight last night against UFC legend Silva, where he dropped his opponent en route to unanimous decision victory at the Desert Diamond Arena in Phoenix. UFC veteran Diaz, who recently fought in the final bout of his contract with the promotion, was in the building for the event and watched on from ringside as his teammate Chris Avila defeated YouTuber Dr Mike.
However Diaz was set to be ringside for the main event between Paul and Silva but was escorted out after starting a heated confrontation with Paul's team where he slapped one of his rival's entourage. Despite missing the main event live from the arena, Diaz did not leave before sending a message to Paul on social media.
He tweeted an image of his team all wearing merchandise from his new brand 'Real Fighters Inc', with the caption: "The only Real fighters here." His new promotion is expected to be a platform for himself and his fighters to use in the boxing world if he is to secure a ring meeting with Paul.
The YouTube star did his bit yesterday winning the fight and immediately proceeded to name-drop Diaz alongside boxing star Canelo Alvarez as potential opponents for his next exploit. He said: “I want Nate Diaz, he’s a b****. He tried to come into my locker room and cause some s*** then he always leaves the f****ng arena so Nate Diaz, stop being a b**** and fight me.
"Canelo, you too. You guys said you can’t beat a striker and a legend like Anderson Silva, I just did it. So, why can’t I beat Canelo? F*** y’all.” Diaz caused a moment of panic for Paul's team before the fight but was unable to get near his potential rival, just days after appearing to hint that he may not entertain any agreement for a squared circle clash.

The pair have long been destined to touch gloves ever since Diaz's contract had just one fight remaining with the UFC, but official talks have yet to materialise. Paul later renewed his call-out during his post-fight press conference and questioned his rival's antics prior to the main event. He said: "Nate Diaz was here, acting like a bitch. Everyone wants that fight, he was trying to fight people in the hallway.
"Nate, stop fighting people for free, let’s do it in the ring. I know you’re a little slow, buddy, but it is okay, we can make that fight happen. It is typical of him, that is what he likes to do, he is a street gangster. He likes to act tough and he is really not. Why are you trying to beat some up in a hallway, bro?"
