UFC legend Jon Jones would be willing to cross over to boxing to face fellow heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
Jones and Fury are both considered among the best pound-for-pound fighters in their respective sports and a crossover bout between the pair was recently proposed by UFC commentator Joe Rogan. Rogan predicted Jones would win in a street fight, a claim that 'The Gypsy King' played down by insisting that "no man born from a mother" could defeat him.
Fury has maintained that he would only fight Jones under boxing rules, with the ring legend also belittling MMA's ruleset by stating that he doesn't "roll round the floor". Jones has now welcomed Fury's proposal and he wants UFC president Dana White to pardon him of his contractual duties.
