UFC 280 weigh-in video: Charles Oliveira, Islam Makhachev set for vacant title fight

ABU DHABI – Charles Oliveira and Islam Makhachev had no drama on the scale Friday when they made weight for the UFC 280 vacant lightweight title headliner.

Oliveira (33-8 MMA, 21-8 UFC) and Makhachev (22-1 MMA, 11-1 UFC) both hit the divisional limit at official weigh-ins, which took place at the UFC host hotel on Yas Island. Etihad Arena hosts Saturday’s event, which airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPNNews and early prelims on ESPN+.

Former champion Oliveira registered at 154.5 pounds, while Makhachev was 154.5 pounds on the scale.
