UFC 279 takes place Saturday with the possible farewell fight for one of the promotion’s biggest stars, but before the fights get underway, join MMA Junkie’s Farah Hannoun for a preview show right here at 5 p.m. ET.
After a tumultuous Friday caused by Khamzat Chimaev’s massive weight miss, the new welterweight headliner will feature Nate Diaz against Tony Ferguson in what is the final fight on Diaz’s UFC contract. And in the co-main event, Chimaev – who originally was slated to meet Diaz – will take on Kevin Holland in a catchweight bout. Both fights are scheduled for five rounds.
UFC 279 takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card streams on ESPN+ pay-per-view follwong prelims on ESPNews and ESPN+.
