HOUSTON – The UFC 271 middleweight title fight between Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker is official.
Adesanya (21-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) and Whittaker (23-5 MMA, 14-3 UFC) successfully made weight Friday at the UFC host hotel, setting the stage for a highly anticipated rematch of their October 2019 bout.
Title challenger Whittaker was a pound under the limit mark at 184 pounds. He was the first fighter to the scale. Shortly thereafter, titleholder Adesanya was the same at 184.

UFC 271 takes place Saturday at Toyota Center. The main card streams on ESPN+ pay-per-view after prelims on ESPN/ESPN+.
