🔴 UEFA to boycott World Cup over FIFA proposals

UEFA’s member associations have unanimously agreed to boycott the World Cup and other FIFA competitions in opposition to FIFA’s proposal to sell stakes in a tournament-operating subsidiary to outside investors.

European football's governing body UEFA said Thursday it would boycott the World Cup should FIFA press ahead with its private investor plan.
