As Ramadan commences, the UAE has announced a nationwide prisoner release, with 1,440 inmates set to leave correctional institutions following a directive from the President. The move also includes the settlement of financial penalties linked to their sentences.
President His Highness Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the release of 1,440 inmates from correctional institutions across the country. The prisoners were sentenced in various cases. Alongside the release order, Sheikh Mohamed has undertaken to settle the financial obligations incurred by them in the implementation of those sentences.
