Indian foreign workers in the UAE planning to return home for Dussehra and Diwali can still find airfares below Dh1,500 on several major India routes, although travel agents expect prices to rise from mid-October as demand increases, reported Gulf News.
Dussehra falls on October 20 this year, followed by Diwali on November 8. The period is among the busiest for UAE-based Indians travelling to India to celebrate the festivals with family.
