Fourteen cities across the United States will serve as hosts of this summer’s Copa América, South America’s premier regional soccer tournament that is expanding to 16 teams and will include the U.S. and Mexico.
As previously known, the Miami Dolphins’ Hard Rock Stadium will host the July 14 final while Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium will host the opening match June 20, which will feature Lionel Messi’s World Cup champion Argentina. Charlotte and East Rutherford, N.J., will host the semifinals of the tournament.

- Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Fla.
- Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, Calif.
- Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, Ga.
- MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, N.J.
- NRG Stadium, Houston, Texas
- Q2 Stadium, Austin, Texas
- SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, Calif.
- State Farm Stadium, Glendale, Ariz.
As the tournament’s top seeds, the U.S. men’s national team, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil have each been drawn into separate groups. The full groups will be announced in the Copa América draw on Dec. 7.

The USMNT will play its group stage games in Arlington on June 23, in Atlanta on June 27 and then at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium on July 1. Mexico will play group matches in Houston on June 22, in Inglewood on June 26 and in Glendale on June 30.
Reigning Copa América champion Argentina will play the opener in Atlanta, then in East Rutherford on June 25 and in Miami Gardens on June 29. Brazil will play in Inglewood on June 24, in Las Vegas on June 28 and in Santa Clara on July 2.
