Tyson Fury's US promoter Bob Arum has said that a deal for a fight against Oleksandr Usyk is agreed, with the venue the only issue left to resolve in negotiations.
The huge unification bout is expected to take place early next year, with the two undefeated heavyweight champions of the world going head to head in what will be one of the biggest battles in recent memory. The winner will have the right to be called undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, becoming the first to do so since Lennox Lewis in 1999.
Arum is a key part of negotiations and has confirmed that the fight will take place no later than March 4th, which is the date also confirmed by Oleksandr Usyk's promoters earlier this week. However, the venue will be decided before the end of the year, with multiple options on the table.

“Both fighters have agreed to fight, that is clear,” The Top Rank promoter told TalkSport. “The question then is where the fight is held and that will be decided by the end of the year.
“There’s a couple of places in the Middle East that have expressed big interest and made offers and of course there is the possibility of doing the fight in Wembley Stadium.
“Whenever that fight happens and I believe it will happen within the first four months of the year, it’s going to be a huge, massive fight and I can’t wait to see it.”
Usyk's last fight took place in Saudi Arabia, with the Ukrainian beating Anthony Joshua to retain his WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles. Meanwhile, Fury has had two huge stadium fights in the UK this year, with bouts at Wembley Stadium and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as he retained his WBC title.
