Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk 2: Tony Bellew makes his prediction

Tony Bellew has given his final prediction for Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk 2.

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk meet once again in Saudi Arabia on Saturday with the Gypsy King out for revenge. Despite Fury’s size and weight advantage, Usyk took the fight to Fury in their first meeting back in May, with the Ukrainian coming out on top.

Usyk managed to badly hurt Fury in the ninth round and looked set to force a stoppage. However, Fury was saved by the bell.

The Ukrainian went on to win the fight by unanimous decision, becoming the first undisputed world heavyweight champion in 25 years. And now Fury and Usyk will do it all again come Saturday night.

Tony Bellew: I Can’t See Tyson Fury Getting Past Oleksandr Usyk

Ahead of Saturday’s blockbuster bout in the Middle East, Bellew was asked for his thoughts on what the outcome of the rematch would be.

Bellew was the last man to face Usyk at cruiserweight level and was beaten by the Ukrainian in the eighth round of their bout.

Usyk, who held all four cruiserweight titles at the time, has since gone on to dominate at heavyweight, beating every man put in front of him. And Bellew believes it’ll be the same outcome as before on Saturday.

“I’ve said before I’ll say it again, I just can’t see past Oleksandr Usyk,” Bellew told Fightlens. “I think the guy is an absolute machine.

“Don’t get me wrong, at Tyson Fury’s size and weight he shouldn’t lose, if I’m being totally honest, with advantages like that you shouldn’t lose. But if anyone was going to beat him it was Oleksandr Usyk.”

During the ninth round of their first fight in May, it was suggested that Fury was lucky that the referee chose not to intervene despite the heavy punishment he was taking.

“Fortunate is an understatement,” Bellew added. “He literally saved his bacon in that round, he saved his backside, he really did. We’ll get all the answers on December 21st.

“Is Oleksandr Usyk going to cap off an unbelievable career and walk off into the sunset or is he going to falter and lose that winning streak?”
