  • Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will finally meet in a long-awaited heavyweight showdown in Cardiff on 11 December, following extensive negotiations led by Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh that moved the event away from New York.
  • The historic fight will be streamed live globally to over 325 million members on Netflix at no additional cost, alongside a star-studded undercard featuring marquee fighters from around the world.
  • A promotional dispute has surfaced after Matchroom's Eddie Hearn rejected claims made in an official Netflix statement that UFC chief Dana White will co-promote the event, insisting White cannot be involved without Matchroom's consent.
  • Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh and Dana White both praised the landmark agreement, highlighting that the two legendary heavyweights bring a combined record of 66 wins, 52 knockouts, and multiple world titles into the ring.
  • The two British heavyweights are scheduled to meet face to face at an official launch press conference on Wednesday 30 September at the British Airways Arc in London.
