Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte are set to finally come face to face at a press conference this afternoon.
Whyte did not attend the initial press conference to announce the fight last month and also missed Tuesday's open workouts due to a 'late flight'.
But he has landed in London and is expected to be at today's presser, which is scheduled to start at 2.30pm. It is being streamed live by Top Rank on YouTube and you can watch it live on the video at the top of this article.
Fury walked out of an interview with Sky Sports on Tuesday after he was asked about his relationship with Daniel Kinahan, who was last week named as being a head of the Kinahan crime gang and hit with worldwide financial sanctions by the United States government, who have offered a $5million reward for information on the group leading to the arrest and conviction of its leaders.
Fury and Whyte, who both have no involvement in criminality, clash for the WBC world heavyweight title at Wembley this weekend.
And the Gypsy King has reiterated he will retire after the bout.
At last month’s unveiling press conference for the bout, the 33-year-old conceded Wembley could be his last hurrah but was non-committal during a virtual media event on Thursday where he insisted his only focus was on the fight, not what would happen after.
It was a different story after being put through his paces at BOXPARK Wembley on Tuesday, where Fury said: “That’s it. Get a good victory here on Saturday night, relax, sit back and enjoy life. I am loving every second of it (this week).
“It’s been a long old journey, ups and downs in my career, lots of ups and downs. I’m coming up to 34, 20 years as a boxer, that’s enough for anybody. There’s plenty of other stuff I need to do like look after my kids and wife and enjoy them.”
