Tyson Fury has revealed that he still plans to fight against Oleksandr Usyk after the Ukrainian heavyweight champion was told to fight against Daniel Dubois by the World Boxing Association.
Dubois holds the WBA regular heavyweight title and has been made the mandatory challenger for Usyk's WBA super heavyweight belt which would also be a unification bout. However, a fight between Fury and Usyk has already entered negotiations and Fury appears set on a bout with the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO champion.
Frank Warren has said that Dubois would step aside for Fury in such an eventuality, with the Queensberry promotions boss representing both British fighters. However, should Usyk opt for a fight against Dubois rather than Fury then it is likely that the self-styled Gypsy King would face Joe Joyce next year.

That appears to be an unlikely outcome, however, and Fury has revealed that he plans to fight against Usyk at the end of February in the first of two fights next year.
Fury has spoken about how comfortably he believes that he will be able to beat Usyk, with a height advantage of six inches over the Ukrainian former cruiserweight, telling iFL TV. "There's no man born who can beat me and I'll stand and prove it against anybody, not a problem,"
Fury will also be intent on reclaiming The Ring heavyweight title against Usyk, with the 35-year-old having won the belt after it was vacated by Fury following his supposed retirement earlier this year. Fury has this week re-entered the rankings with the iconic boxing magazine at number one ahead of Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua.
Fury added: "Where I am in my life at the moment and where I am with my career, I wouldn't want to take him out quite quickly. I'd like to get him in there in February, make an example of him and then give him a rematch and do it back at Wembley again.
"If the Middle East can deliver like they've said they can for the last year or so then they're going to deliver at the end of February and if they don't then we'll do it in England at Wembley."
Usyk's promoter Alexander Krassyuk, has revealed that the fight is being targeted for a date between February 18 and March 4 in the Middle East, with Saudi Arabia the most likely destination.
