Tyson Fury refuse to break his latest stare-down with Derek Chisora as the pair came face-to-face ahead of their heavyweight showdown.
The Gypsy King reversed his plans to retire and will now step in the ring in a WBC voluntary defence against Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Saturday night. A win for the champion could see him set up big fights in 2023 which he will hope includes a huge undisputed clash with Oleksandr Usyk.
However, Chisora has no plans to let that happen and is planning on capitalising on the biggest opportunity of his career to have one last hurrah in the division. The pair came face-to-face at a fight week press conference to announce the event on Thursday, with Fury reluctant to break the piercing stare that the pair held at the front of the stage.
Fury continued to stare at Chisora while his rival turned away and posed for alternative photos from the media, with 'WAR' seemingly not intimidated in the slightest by his glare. And the Briton has vowed to deliver an aggressive and fan-friendly display on Saturday night, but has refused to become involved in a war of words with his former two-time rival.
"It is between me and him," Chisora said at today's press conference. "We want to give you the best heavyweight round ever, this will be from my point of view the opening bell will be electric. By the time you want to sit down, you will be standing up. We will get the fight on from the first round to get the place buzzing. I know Tyson is a man of his word but I am buzzing.
"But I can't sit here and be more aggressive with Tyson, and he is sitting here and giving me the opportunity. He called me up and he said I want to fight you and give you. a big payday. And I replied 'yes let us make it happen'. For me to talk s*** about this man who is giving me food to support my kids I cannot."

Fury has already beaten Chisora twice in 2011 and 2014 respectively with the latter ending with 'WAR ' retiring on the stool. However the champion has vowed not to overlook his challenger and follow in the footsteps of other champions by losing in an upset. "This is a business transaction, so we are going to go in there punch the f*** out of each other," Fury said.
"Afterwards we can have some food and a cup of tea whatever he wants. I hear all these critics, but in a two horse race never over-estimate anybody.
"As we have seen many times in the past when champions overlook opponents, then the challenger goes in there and knocks the mother****** out.Throw down for the fans. Whoever fights Derek Chisora is in for a f***ing good fight."
