Tyson Fury delivered another flawless display to defeat Derek Chisora in north London on Saturday

Fury successfully defended his WBC heavyweight title once again with another dominant stoppage victory over his old rival on Saturday night, with unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO champion Usyk present at ringside at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to watch the main event.
Afterwards the two men engaged in a heated face-off, with Usyk admirably keeping his cool as Fury rained down expletive-laden insults and threatened to destroy the Ukrainian, who remained silent before being joined up on the ring apron by WBO interim champion Joe Joyce.
It was said in the build-up to Fury’s third win over Chisora that an agreement for the self-proclaimed ‘Gypsy King’ and Usyk to fight - likely in Saudi Arabia - in a bid to crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis was close to being finalised for late February or early March.
However, that timetable now looks impossible with Fury admitting to ESPN that he has been suffering from an elbow issue and will likely need an operation that will require a subsequent lay-off of up to two months.
“I’ve got to maybe have surgery on my right elbow,” he said after easing to a brutal 10th-round stoppage of Chisora in north London.
“I had the left one done, so I’ve got to have it done. It will take about six to eight weeks to heal. We’ll see when we can be ready for this fight.”
Asked again about the injury by BT Sport, Fury added: “I’ve had it for a while. I’ve got like elbow spurs and some stuff that I’ve got to sort out on my right arm. When that’s done, we can get the fight on.”
