Tyson Fury has demanded there is no contracted rematch clause for his undisputed title clash with Oleksandr Usyk.
The 'Gypsy King' has held lengthy talks with unified world champion Usyk over a potential fight for all the marbles, with the fight being targeted for April 29 at Wembley Stadium. It was feared negotiations may fall through with the pair unable to reach an agreement on the purse split, but a breakthrough was made after Usyk publicly accepted an offer of 70 per cent in his rival's favour.
It now appears that the fight will be made barring any stumbling blocks in the final hour, with Fury set to attempt to become the first undisputed champion since 1999 in a showdown on home soil. However Fury has issued a new update casting a new obstacle to a final agreement on social media in a fresh video on Instagram.
He shouted: "I’ve been speaking to the lawyers today, and Usyk’s people have been talking about rematch clauses and all that b******s. Here’s one to up the ante. How about there is no f***ing rematch clause, for both of us? Let’s up the ante completely.
"Never worry about what’s in the future and how many more dollars you can get after you’ve been defeated; worry about the fight, April 29, no rematch clause. How about that? Agree to that.”
This is the second demand that Fury has made in around a week, given he proposed on social media that Usyk is awarded just 30 per cent of the purse, which the Ukrainian countered by claiming Fury must donate £1million to Ukraine if he is to reach a final compromise.

With the WBA having now being informed that Fury will indeed face Usyk next, it appears that fans are finally edging closer to the biggest fight in the heavyweight division. Usyk and the Briton have regularly been trading verbal barbs on social media during a tense build-up including a face-to-face meeting at Fury's win over Chisora late last year.
Usyk believes he is the man to hand Fury his first defeat and believes both men need the fight for their legacy in the sport. Usyk, speaking on The Overlap, in partnership with Sky Bet said: “I need this fight with Tyson Fury and that’s it. He needs it too. The fight is very important for both of us because all four belts haven’t been held by one person for 30 years in the heavyweight division.
“This will be like any other fight - it’s a big man who has never lost before against a man who has the WBC belt. Of course, it’s possible to get carried away but this is a normal fight for the right to win all the belts. If a person is bigger than me, it doesn’t mean that they’re stronger. If they have longer arms, it doesn’t mean that it will be an advantage."
