Tyson Fury has given Anthony Joshua an ultimatum, saying that the contract which has been sent to his representatives must be signed by Monday, September 27 or the fight will be off.
Fury was in attendance for Joseph Parker vs Joe Joyce at the AO Arena on Saturday night, sitting ringside alongside Frank Warren, who is promoting the event. It had appeared that negotiations had been progressing well for the fight which is proposed for December 3 in Cardiff, but comments from the WBC champion cast doubt over the progress.
It had appeared that Joshua was willing to accept the 60:40 split proposed by Fury, but now negotiations are seemingly on thin ice. This comes after Eddie Hearn admitted that the contract which had been sent over by Fury's representatives 'wasn't as expected' and that much more needed to be done to secure the fight.

Speaking to Warren's promotional company in a video released on Twitter, Fury said: "I was optimistic about three weeks ago, but it shouldn't be taking this long to sign a contract.
"We'll know by Monday anyway, because if it's not done by Monday then I'm moving on." He added: "I'm not waiting around for some guy who's lost three of his last five fights, he's lucky that I'm giving him a world title shot.
"I don't mind chucking him a bone, you know, but I don't want them to start dictating s**t to me, he is an invited guest at my party - my rules. So, if you want to play the game, come to the banquet and take your seat."
