Tyson Fury has called for his trilogy fight with Derek Chisora to take place in his hometown at Manchester United's home ground Old Trafford.
Fury has long angled for a stadium fight in his native Manchester, but had to settle for Wembley Stadium in London for his homecoming back in April. But he plans to have more control over the fight with Chisora, with ESPN even reporting that his offer to the Finchley fighter was sent via Goldstar Promotions, as opposed to Frank Warren's Queensberry or Bob Arum's Top Rank.
Goldstar Promotions are the company that are taking care of his nationwide speaking tour, where he is meeting fans across the UK and telling stories of his return to heavyweight glory. But they appear to be taking the reins on negotiations for his next fight, which would be far and away their biggest undertaking to date.
It is being reported that the Principality Stadium in Cardiff is being targeted, with December the likely time period for the fight. At that time of year, the Welsh stadium is the only viable venue in the UK given that it has a roof which allows it to be used when the weather is bad.
"Me and Isaac [Lowe, who Fury claims is his new trainer] have been brainstorming all morning after a great training session," Fury told fans in his latest social media video. "This fight with Chisora should be in Manchester, in my opinion at United's football ground."
Lowe, Fury's long-time teammate and featherweight fighter who is reportedly going to corner his pal for the Chisora trilogy, then added: "Definitely because obviously he is the king and he has already been back in London.
"So it's only right that he come back in his hometown of Manchester and nowhere else better than Manchester United's football ground. It's the 'Theatre of Dreams' and the king coming back."
Fury announced earlier this year that he would be retiring from boxing after defeating Dillian Whyte in front of 94,000 fans at the national stadium in a homecoming title defence. But he has backtracked on that decision, and has recently sent paperwork to Chisora hoping to arrange a third bout between the pair.

They last met in 2014, when Fury stopped Chisora after ten rounds for the British title. Their first meeting in 2011 also had the British belt on the line, and was won by the Manchester native by way of unanimous decision.
Taking to social media yesterday to make the announcement, Fury told cousin and former world champion Andy Lee: "I've decided to come back to boxing because I can become the first heavyweight champion in history to have two trilogies; one with Deontay Wilder and the second one with Derek Chisora.
"I always said I'd fight Derek Chisora at the end of my career and here we are, breaking all records again and setting precedents. Why I've chosen Isaac Lowe as my trainer is that while I was with Peter [Fury], Isaac was there, while I was with Ben [Davison], Isaac was there and when I was with SugarHill he was always there.
"He gives me information, he knows me better than anybody on the planet and we're a great team. We've always been together and we're going to finish this out together. We've always worked very well together and here we are, about to take on a massive, massive event."
