Tyson Fury believes that Dillian Whyte should go after Daniel Dubois' new heavyweight title as opposed to pining over losing their April meeting.
Whyte has called for a rematch with Fury after claiming that he was pushed illegally in the sequence that saw their bout stopped in the sixth round. But Fury insists that he is retired, and would need to be paid hundreds of millions to ever fight again, likely against the winner of Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk's rematch this summer.
And Fury has instead suggested that Whyte take on Dubois instead after his Frank Warren stablemate became the WBA regular heavyweight champion in Miami last weekend. There is a belief that the Brit's title is illegitimate, given that Oleksandr Usyk is the super champion as well as holding WBO and IBF belts, while Fury plans to hold onto the WBC strap until next year.
