In-demand Blackburn Rovers star Tyrhys Dolan is reportedly on the transfer radar of both Celtic and Rangers.
TalkSPORT claim the Premiership pair are admirers of the 20-year-old winger who has enjoyed a remarkable rise at Ewood Park.
He left Preston as a free agent in 2020 but his switch to Rovers has reaped major rewards.
Dolan came through Manchester City's academy but truly established himself under Tony Mowbray's guidance last season.
He made 37 appearances at Ewood Park and netted five goals in the process.
And now both Celtic and Rangers have been namechecked, alongside English Premier League new boys Nottingham Forest.
It's understood Rovers would command a fee between £2 and £3million for a player with who has two years remaining on his current deal.
Dolan's eye-catching displays in Lancashire have earned attention with a pair of international caps for England's U20 side.
His remarkable rise was capped with a goal in the 3-1 over Germany and Dolan has made a compelling case to stick around with the national team in the coming years.
Former Blackburn boss Mowbray explained last October why Dolan had forged himself as a regular at Ewood Park.
But urged his prized pupil to continue his quest to improve his play in the final third.
Mowbray said: “Tyrhys plays in our team because he sets the tone of hard work.
“I don’t think he sits there and thinks he’s Lionel Messi, he runs and runs, closes, chases and gets his rewards.
“He’s undoubtedly got talent as he showed numerous times, scored a wonderful goal, got in behind them, second half quite a bit, the growth areas for Tyrhys Dolan are his final ball and delivery in the box.
“He got into some amazing positions but just needs to pick someone out for a side-foot finish and we win the game three or 4-0.
“I pick him almost every week because of the work he puts in, and that’s what we demand as the starting point, that everyone has to run, chase, fight, tackle, put your foot in, but as a striker he has to score goals and create chances and he’s doing that.”
