The Seattle Seahawks have quietly put together one of their most solid drafts in recent memory, directly approaching every area of need and making smart, rational selections. Seattle has doubled down with two tackles, two corners, and now they have selected their second defensive end of the draft.
Taking another pass rusher from the Big 10, the Seahawks have made Ohio State defensive end Tyreke Smith. Not only will Smith have a chance to make an immediate impact on the field, the former Buckeye has quite the interesting connection to a former Seahawks legend.

It should not come as any surprise that a future first ballot Hall of Famer like Bobby Wagner would be great at other sports as well, and it certainly sounds like Tyreke Smith has gotten a little taste of what Wagner can do athletically.
Of course, with Bobby Wagner now a member of the Los Angeles Rams, Smith will get to see up close and personal what Wagner is capable on the gridiron.
