Tyler Adams has admitted hearing 'Marching on Together' was a moment that gave him goosebumps. The United States international shared a special moment with fellow new arrival Brenden Aaronson prior to the Whites' Premier League opener with Wolves.
The duo both turned in impressive displays as Jesse Marsch's side ran out 2-1 winners over Wolves. Speaking to the Men In Blazers podcast, Adams said: "To walk out in that stadium and hear the anthem 'Marching on Together' for the first time, it gave me goosebumps. The fans are passionate, loyal. How many fans have come up to me in the streets - more than in my entire life.
"I definitely was not expecting that. I was just expecting to be able to walk out, go where I need to and whatever. Fans recognise you, they're passionate and they remember everything."

When asked about whether the two United States internationals had any words of encouragement for each other, Adams said: "It was actually on the way out, we were in the tunnel and I tapped him on the shoulder and said to just enjoy it. We both know what they're capable of. It's so nice and calming to know we have each other on the field.
"We have team-mates that would back me through anything, especially on this team, but to know that I have him [Aaronson] on my back also - no matter what is also a good feeling. He knows that I have his back.
"The chemistry on the field that we have together is obviously second to none. We've played a lot of games together now especially with the national team - we have a calming presence with each other and that's a really good feeling."
Like many of the other Leeds United first-team, Adams has a mural on the side of Elland Road and it was a 'pinch me' moment for the 23-year-old.
"The media team here in Leeds sent me a picture of where they were hanging it and I think it's the biggest stand at Elland Road," he said. "My girlfriend sent me a picture before the game against Wolves and I was like 'holy c**p' that's big.'
"I didn't realise it was that big and on a photo you don't realise it, but when she was standing in front of it, yeah okay it's really, really big. After the game I was able to drive by it and see it, I can't lie it's pretty cool."
