A two-year-old boy has been left with head-injuries after being hit by a cyclist also hard he was knocked out of his shoes and dragged along the road. Police are now hunting the cyclist who failed to stop after hitting Ollie as he crossed the road at a pedestrian crossing.
Mum Chelsea Cook said Ollie was crossing the road just after 3.30pm on the school run. She told PlymouthLive: "The green man came, Ollie walked forward and we were literally right behind him, and then out of nowhere this cyclist came and hit him from the right side and dragged him down the road, causing him to hit his head on the floor.
"The force that he hit him both of his shoes came off his feet. The cyclist just carried on and didn't even stop - he just left him face down in the middle of the road. Ollie cried instantly, I didn't even see the bruise and bump on his head because I was more concerned about getting him out of the road. It was just afterwards that my partner said 'look you need to ring an ambulance immediately'.
