Two women ‘sexually assaulted’ in queue at busy London station

  • British Transport Police have issued an appeal and released CCTV footage in connection with an alleged sexual assault at London Bridge station.
  • The incident occurred around 11pm on Saturday 30 May, when a man approached two women who were waiting in line to play an organ.
  • After speaking with the women, the man is alleged to have sexually assaulted them.
  • Officers are seeking to identify the man in the CCTV images, who is described as having a northern accent and potentially being from North East England.
  • The public is urged to contact British Transport Police on 61016 or 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 818 of 3 June, or provide anonymous information to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
