Two women were rushed to hospital after a bus, car and hackney cab crashed on a busy road.
Merseyside Police rushed to the junction of Park Street and Upper Park Street in Dingle on Friday, June 10 at around 4.40pm following reports of a crash. Once at the scene officers found a double decker bus, Ford Fiesta and a hackney cab were all involved in a crash.
Officers requested help from the North West Ambulance Service and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and closed the road in both directions to deal with the incident. The silver Ford Fiesta had crashed into a side railing, while the black Hackney cab was on the pavement on the other side of the road.

Two women inside the Ford Fiesta were rushed to hospital by the ambulance service. Their injuries are described as minor and not life changing.
Nobody else was injured in the crash and the road was reopened to vehicles four hours later once police had carried out investigations. Nobody was arrested after the crash.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "We are at the scene of a road traffic collision at the junction of Park Street/Upper Park Street in Dingle. Emergency services were called at 4.40pm.
"The collision is believed to involve a double decker bus, a Ford Fiesta and a Hackney cab."
