A routine police check for a broken headlight led to two women arrested.
Merseyside Police officers stopped a car on Sherdley Road, St Helens at around 7pm on Saturday December 10, due to a faulty headlight. A quantity of suspected cocaine was then found in the vehicle.
A roadside drugs wipe on the driver came back positive, and the pair were subsequently arrested.
