Two UK lottery players have just won the £62m Euromillions draw and will take each receive a whopping £31m

Two lucky ticket-holders from the UK have won the £62 million jackpot, with each winner taking home £31 million.

The news was announced shortly after the Tuesday evening draw. It brings the total number of UK-based EuroMillions winners in 2023 to five. The identities of the winners have not been revealed - and may not yet even know they have scooped the jackpot - but UK lottery bosses have expressed their excitement.

Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at The National Lottery, said it was an incredible moment for UK EuroMillions fans. He said, "What an amazing night for UK EuroMillions players as two winners have shared tonight's life-changing £62 million EuroMillions jackpot. That makes it five jackpot wins by UK EuroMillions players so far this year."
