Two-time Eurovision champion Loreen has announced the postponement of her European tour, including a series of planned concerts across the UK and Ireland.
The 42-year-old Swedish singer was set to perform at venues such as Glasgow's O2 Academy, Manchester's O2 Victoria Warehouse, London's O2 Academy Brixton, and Dublin’s National Stadium this September.
In a post on Instagram, Loreen said: “My darlings, I need to share something important with you.
“I’m having to reschedule my European tour this September and October to Spring 2027, which also means I won’t be performing at the summer festivals.
“These shows mean everything to me. It’s a vital part of the connection we share, and I need it to hold the full energy, the full soul it deserves. You’ve come to know that I don’t do things halfway. I’ve really thought this through, and it hasn’t been easy.
“I’m truly sorry for the disruption this causes. Your time, your plans, your energy… they matter to me. This decision is also made out of respect for you, for what we are building together, and for delivering an experience that is nothing less than what you deserve.
“The new dates will be announced soon. All tickets will remain valid, and if you can’t make the rescheduled shows, full refunds will be available.”
The singer, whose real name is Lorine Talhaoui, added: “All my love, Loreen.”
A reason for the postponement was not given.
Loreen is only the second artist alongside Ireland’s Johnny Logan to win the Eurovision Song Contest twice, with Euphoria in 2012 and Tattoo in 2023.
Responding the the post, one commenter, @majaa_kopczynska, wrote: “I can't hide the fact that this made me really sad, but you, Loreen, are what matters most.
“Your well-being and the energy you share with us during your concerts are truly irreplaceable. No matter when, we'll be here waiting, because without you, this community wouldn't exist.
“I truly believe you'll come back to us even stronger in the spring. Take all the time you need to rest, and know that you have our full support. I hope to see you in the spring.”
Both of her Eurovision winning songs charted in the top 10 of the UK singles chart, while her 2012 album Heal also charted.
The singer has released three studio albums, with the most recent being Wildfire, released in March.
