Two brands of six-drawer dressers sold through major online retailers were recalled on the same day for failing the federal stability standard written to keep furniture from crushing children. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission posted both notices on September 3, 2026, covering about 4,657 units in American homes.
The larger recall involves Gizoon-branded six-drawer double dressers, about 4,396 of them, sold on Amazon.com from May 2025 through August 2026 for between $138 and $171. The second covers about 261 Alanca six-drawer wood dressers sold on Wayfair.com from April 2025 through June 2026 for between $206 and $240.
