Two men were rushed to hospital after a single car crash in the early hours of this morning.
The horror crash happened in the Bunboggan area of Athboy, Co. Meath just before 2am. Gardai and emergency services raced to the scene.
The male passenger of the car was rushed to Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar where he is being treated for serious injuries.

The man driving the car was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. His injuries are described as non-life threatening.
A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí are currently at the scene of a serious single vehicle road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 1:55am on Saturday, 27th August, 2022, in the Bunboggan area of Athboy, County Meath.
"A male passenger in the car involved was taken to Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, for treatment of serious injuries. The male driver of the car was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, with non-life threatening injuries.
"The road is currently closed in order for a technical examination to be conducted. Local diversions are in place."
