Four Renoir paintings were snatched from a museum on the French Riviera in a break-in that lasted less than three minutes, but the escape quickly unravelled when police arrived.
Two of the Renoir paintings stolen were abandoned in the museum garden as the suspects fled. Two others, 'Portrait of Madame Colonna Romano' and 'Young Woman at the Well', remain missing.
