A theatre production company is on the hunt for young people to join the cast of two upcoming musicals which are set to be performed in Belfast later this year.
Carryduff based Just Stage It Academy are on the lookout for young actors between the ages of 7 and 19 for performances of Six and The Wizard of Oz which will both be staged at The Mac in November.
The production of Six will see a full-length adaptation of Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss’ international phenomenon, modified for performance by teen actors for family audiences.

Performers auditioning for a role in Six must be 14 at the time of audition and 19 or under at the date of the performance which will take place on 25th and 26th November with a live band.
The production company says that the show will be choreographed by Ksenia Zsikhotska, professional dancer from RTE’s Dancing with the Stars for three seasons.
"She has teamed up with Just Stage It Academy to train aspiring young performers for the Production of Six the Musical Teen Edition," they said.
"Ksenia has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the Performing Arts Industry. She is the United Kingdom and British Closed Latin Professional Champion and holds the Latin Show Dance Title.
"She also had the pleasure of touring with Brendan Cole's 'A Night To Remember’ production and she assisted in choreographing the Argentine Tango on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing."
Meanwhile, younger actors between the ages of 7 and 14 can audition for a number of roles in The Wizard of Oz with a two day audition workshop taking place on 2nd and 3rd September.
Previous pupils at the Academy have gone on to perform in London’s West End, Broadway in New York, and Disneyland Paris.
