Motorists experienced disruption on the M8 on Friday night after a multi-car collision in Renfrewshire.
Two people were taken to Paisley’s Royal Alexandra Hospital but no serious injuries were reported although there were delays.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were all in attendance at the smash, which occurred around 3.35pm near junction 29A to Bishopton.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 3.35pm on Friday, April 14 to attend a road traffic collision on the M8, at junction 29A westbound.
“We dispatched a number of resources to the scene and two patients were conveyed to Royal Alexandra Hospital.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.30pm on Friday, April 14, police were called to a crash involving several vehicles on the M8 westbound near junction 29A just after the Bishopton slip road.
“There were no reports of any serious injuries.”
