Two people are fighting for their lives in hospital following a multi-car crash in Glasgow.
The incident took place around 10.50pm last night on Todd Street in the Dennistoun area of the city.
Two cars, a parked car and a pedestrian were involved in the smash.
Emergency crews including Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service attended the scene.
The 26-year-old male driver of a Ford Fiesta and the 75-year-old female passenger of a Mercedes E220 were rushed to hospital.
They remain in a critical condition.
The 56-year-old male pedestrian was also taken to hospital.
He was treated for serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
The 30-year-old male driver of the Mercedes was not seriously injured in the event.
Cops have confirmed that enquiries into the crash remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.50pm on Sunday, 27 March, police were called to the Todd Street area of Glasgow, following a report of a road crash involving two cars, a parked car and a pedestrian.
“The 26-year-old male driver of a Ford Fiesta and the 75-year-old female passenger of a Mercedes E220 were taken to hospital, where they remain in a critical condition.
"The 56-year-old male pedestrian was treated in hospital for serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
"The 30-year-old male driver of the Mercedes was not seriously injured.
“Enquiries into the full circumstances of the incident remain ongoing.”
