Two people charged following death of baby in Essex
(Picture: PA Wire)A woman has been charged with murder following the death of a baby boy in Harlow in Essex.
Ellodie Goncalves, 31, of Joyners Field has been charged with murder and child neglect, Essex Police said.
Muritala Olaiya-Imam, 36, of Shearwater Close in Barking, has been charged with causing or allowing the death of a child and child neglect.
Both are due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Essex Police said officers were called to an address in Joyners Field shortly before 10am on August 19 last year with reports a baby had been taken ill.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the baby boy was pronounced dead, the force said.
