Two people have been arrested on drugs charges after plain clothed officers spotted a drug deal taking place in Mountain Ash, in the Cynon Valley.
Officers were conducting pro-active plain clothes patrols when they saw the drug deal taking place. Shortly before 10.30pm this evening (Sunday, March 5) South Wales Police Rhondda Cynon Taff took to Twitter to issue further information on the incident.
They confirmed that two people had been arrested and a quantity of controlled drugs and more than £4,000 in cash had been seized. Officers also shared an image of the seized items alongside the tweet.
In the image several evidence bags can be seen containing cash and the drugs appear to be disguised in sweet packets.
