Newcastle International Airport has welcomed Turkey's award-winning Corendon Airlines, with twice weekly flights starting to the popular resorts of Antalya and Dalaman. The arrival of the low-cost carrier adds to the airport's biggest ever programme to Turkey this summer, traditionally a popular choice for North East travellers.
There are now up to 36 flights a week available to Turkish resorts this summer, with Jet2.com also offering flights to Antalya and Dalaman, as well as Izmir and Bodrum. Corendon Airlines has been in operation across Europe since 2004 and operates flights to and from four other UK airports: Birmingham, Glasgow, London Gatwick and Manchester.
